Aura Garrido is a Spanish actress who works in film and TV. She was an actress in Stockholm as well as the television series El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido was born in Madrid in the year 1989. Tomas Garrido has been a composer for over thirty years. He is an orchestra conductor. Pilar sanchez, Garrido's mother, is also an artist and musician. Following her first piano lesson at age four, she started to learn ballet. The person she was most close to was an English native, so she was taught English through her. Her high-school studies over and she attended Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico located in Madrid. There she studied interpretation for three years, specializing on textual translation. However, she left in 2010, when she was offered a role in Planes para manana. The role won she an award of the Silver Biznaga for best supporting actress, as well as a Goya Awards nomination in the top breakthrough actress category, among other nominations.
