Melissa Suzanne George hails from Australia and is an actor as well as a businesswoman, inventor, and model. After starting her career in her home country, she eventually moved to Hollywood and was able to achieve significant success at the top of her game. The native of Perth George began her journey in dance and creative roller skating. Modeling began for her in her teens. She was awarded the Western Australia Teenage Model Year 1992. Her screen debut came the following year in the episode on Seven Network s soap opera Home and Away . Dark City marked her screen debut. She has been seen in a number of parts in various projects, including Alias The Limey & Down with Love. Before taking on her first lead part in a mainstream Hollywood production of The Amityville Horror's remake in 2005, she had already played in numerous other films.
