In the aftermath of a rage-filled meltdown, and an unsuccessful attempt at rallying the WWE Universe behind her Vickie was surprisingly rehired as general manager of SmackDown by Mr. McMahon just weeks after her dismissal on Raw. Vickie was able to do The Authority s bidding in the weeks following, but she got herself into hot water once time. Vickie Guerrero, following the incident in which Stephanie McMahon had sprayed a tainted cup of iced-coffee (and an additional), on Guerrero and then fought Roman Reigns in a WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match Qualification Battle Royal against the Authority's instructions. Vickie Guerrero, who had her career in danger she was then forced to go on the show following week to take on Stephanie McMahon in an odd encounter that involved a tub full of a foul-smelling brown substance. Stephanie dismissed Vickie when Stephanie took the lead by throwing her into the sour-smelling mess. Vickie's next move was to dump Stephanie into the sticky muck.
