Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria is an Romanian actor. She won the British Academy Television Award Best Actress for her Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. The actress is fluent in French, German and English. Her mother is a professional violinist. Her father is an actor and theater professor at one of the top Romanian acting schools. She won the Best Female Actor Award for the Year 2000 in the Gala for Young Actors in Mangalia. She was crowned European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in 2008. She was a teacher for four seasons at the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu in Iasi. bAnamaria is an Romanian Actress born 01 April 1978, Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca, an actress from Romanian heritage was the first actress to screen in the television series British-Canadian called Sex Traffic. She won the British Academy Television Award Best Actress award for her performance in this film. Aside from her remarkable performance in her first film, the actress will remain in the memory of her role in the Romanian Art Film 4 Months 3, 2 and 3 days that earned her numerous distinctions including the European Film Award of Best Actress from the London Film Critics. She starred as a Romanian actor in Cristian Mungiu's film 4 months 3 weeks and 3 days (four months, three weeks and two days) which was awarded three weeks, four months and two days) which was awarded the Palme d'Or and other prizes during the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. Also, she starred in the film by Francis Ford Coppola Youth Without Youth. In 2008 she was the character Yasim anwar in BBC miniseries The Last Enemy. Marinca played the role in her role in the Romanian drama Boogie and in Oliver Hirschbiegel's critically acclaimed Five Minutes of Heaven. Later, she had an important part in 2014's Fury in which she played Irma her German mother of Emma.
